Website Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information this website collects, why, who helps me handle it, and the choices you have.

Last updated October 8, 2026

This website is operated by Melissa Moss Inc., DBA Moss Wealth Management ("Moss Wealth Management," "I," "me," or "we"). It covers information collected through this website only. It is intended for visitors in the United States.

This policy is separate from LPL Financial's privacy notices

Securities and advisory services are offered through LPL Financial. If you become a client, LPL Financial's privacy notice explains how your account information is handled. LPL Financial's resources are separate from this website policy and do not control the optional tags on this site. To manage tags on this site, use .

Information this website collects

Information you choose to send

  • Contact form: first and last name, email, optional phone number, and your question.
  • Retirement Transition Blind Spot Finder: your first name, email, and your agreement to receive emails. Your answers to the questions are used in your browser to show your results. The answers themselves are not sent. What is sent is the names of your top three planning areas.
  • 36-Month Retirement Decision Calendar: your first name and email.

Each form submission also includes the page address you sent it from, the date and time, a reference number, and any campaign tags (such as utm_source) from the link you arrived on.

Information collected automatically

  • Browser storage: campaign tags from the link you arrived on are kept in your browser for that visit only (session storage), so they can be included with a form you send. Your privacy choices are saved in your browser (local storage) so you are not asked again.
  • Technical information: like most websites, the services that host this site and deliver its fonts receive standard information when your browser loads a page, such as your IP address, browser and device type, and the page requested.
  • Analytics and advertising tags, only if you allow them: see "Analytics, advertising, and your choices" below.

How information is used

  • To respond to your question or request.
  • To show and send the planning areas or calendar you asked for.
  • To send educational and marketing emails when you have agreed to receive them. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
  • To keep records of inquiries and communication preferences.
  • To understand which pages and campaigns are useful, only if you allow it.
  • To meet legal, regulatory, and recordkeeping obligations.

Services that help run this website

I use the following services to operate the site and handle submissions:

  • Lovable hosts this website, delivered through Cloudflare's network.
  • Zapier receives form submissions from the website and passes them to the services below.
  • Wealthbox is the contact management system where inquiries are recorded.
  • Constant Contact sends emails to people who have agreed to receive them.
  • OnceHub handles scheduling. When you follow a scheduling link, you leave this site and OnceHub's own terms and privacy policy apply.
  • Google Fonts delivers the typefaces used on every page.
  • Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel run only if you allow them.
  • YouTube videos may be embedded on some pages. YouTube may collect information when an embedded video loads or plays.

I may also disclose information where required by law, regulation, or legal process.

Analytics, advertising, and your choices

Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel are off when you first visit. They load only after you turn them on, separately, in the banner or in .

  • Analytics (Google Analytics): counts page visits and general device, browser, and approximate location information. Google signals and ad personalization are turned off in the site's settings.
  • Advertising (Meta Pixel): lets Meta record visits to this site so ads on Facebook and Instagram can be measured, and so follow-up ads can be shown on Facebook and Instagram to people who have visited this site (often called retargeting). The site passes no matching fields (such as name, email, or phone) to Meta, and the pixel's automatic configuration setting is turned off in the site's code. Meta account settings have not yet been independently verified.

The site's code gives these tags only the page address without any query or anchor (the part after "?" or "#"), the page title, and the referring site's address reduced to its domain. To be cautious, the Meta Pixel is not loaded on a page whose address, or the page you came from, includes a query or anchor. The site's code does not pass your name, email, phone number, questions, Blind Spot Finder answers or results, or other form contents to Google or Meta.

These are third-party tools that run their own code in your browser. They may set cookies and collect information from your browser on their own, such as IP address, device and browser details, and cookie identifiers, under Google's and Meta's privacy policies. I can control how the site is configured, but I cannot guarantee exactly what their tools collect. Some Google Analytics features are controlled in the Google Analytics account rather than the site's code, and those settings are still being reviewed.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Under some state laws, allowing an advertising tag like the Meta Pixel may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. You can opt out at any time by leaving Advertising turned off in , also linked in the footer of every page. If you turn a tag off after allowing it, the page reloads so the tag stops.

Opting out this way does not require an account, a form, or any proof of identity.

Cookies and similar technologies

The site itself uses browser storage only to remember your privacy choices and, for one visit, campaign tags from the link you arrived on. Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel may set their own cookies only after you turn them on. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, this site treats it as a request to opt out and keeps the advertising tag off, even if you allowed it before.

Choices are stored in your browser, so they apply to that browser and device. Clearing your browser storage resets them.

Email preferences

Agreeing to receive emails is separate from the analytics and advertising choices above. To stop marketing emails, use the unsubscribe link in any email or contact me using the details below.

Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including responding to inquiries, providing requested services, managing communication preferences, and meeting applicable legal, regulatory, and recordkeeping obligations. Retention periods vary depending on the information and its purpose. You may contact us to request deletion of your personal information. We will evaluate requests under applicable law and may retain information where required or permitted for legal, regulatory, or other legitimate purposes. Unsubscribing from marketing emails does not necessarily delete records we are required to retain.

Your rights and requests

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask what personal information I have about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to opt out of certain uses. To make a request, contact me using the details below. For requests to access, correct, or delete information, I may need to confirm your identity first. Opting out of sale or sharing through Privacy Choices never requires identity verification. Requests are handled as required by applicable law, and some information may be kept where the law requires or permits it.

How information is protected

I use reasonable measures to protect information, such as sending form submissions over encrypted connections and keeping integration settings on the server rather than in your browser. No website or online service is completely secure, and I cannot guarantee the security of information sent over the internet. Please do not include account numbers, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive details in a website form.

Links to other websites

This site links to other websites, including LPL Financial, FINRA, SIPC, OnceHub, and social media. Their own privacy policies apply once you leave this site.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from them through this site.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date.

Privacy choices

These settings control the optional analytics and advertising tags on this website only. Email preferences are separate and are managed through the unsubscribe link in any email.

Optional tags

Necessary

Always on. Keeps the site working, remembers these choices, and keeps campaign tags from the link you arrived on with any form you send.

Counts page visits so I can see which pages are useful. Google may set cookies.

Lets Meta record visits to this site to measure ads and to show follow-up ads on Facebook and Instagram to people who have visited (retargeting). Meta may set cookies. Leaving this off is how you opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information through this site. No account or identity check is needed.

If you turn off something that was on, the page reloads so the tag is fully removed.
